Typing in Hindi
Hindi is written in Devanagari. Vowel signs and half letters (conjuncts) are typed as separate key presses, so a "word" in WPM is measured as five key presses, the same as in official typing exams.

What is a good Hindi typing speed? +
For most people 25 to 35 words per minute in Hindi is a solid everyday speed, 40+ is fast, and office or exam jobs often ask for 25 to 40 WPM. Accuracy above 95% matters more than raw speed.
Do I need a Hindi keyboard to take this test? +
No. Choose a built-in Hindi keyboard in the test and every key types the right Hindi character, even on an English keyboard.
How is Hindi typing speed measured? +
Every five correctly typed characters (key presses, including spaces) count as one word. Uncorrected mistakes are not counted, and accuracy shows how many key presses were right the first time.
