How is WPM calculated?
Every 5 correctly typed characters count as one word. Uncorrected mistakes don't count towards your speed.
What is accuracy?
The share of all your keystrokes that were right the first time, including mistakes you later fixed.
What is a good speed?
Around 40 WPM is average. 60+ is fast, and 90+ is excellent. Aim for 95% accuracy before you chase speed.
