Estonian typing test: questions and answers
What is a good Estonian typing speed? +
For most people 25 to 35 words per minute in Estonian is a solid everyday speed, 40+ is fast, and office or exam jobs often ask for 25 to 40 WPM. Accuracy above 95% matters more than raw speed.
Do I need a Estonian keyboard to take this test? +
No. Choose a built-in Estonian keyboard in the test and every key types the right Estonian character, even on an English keyboard.
How is Estonian typing speed measured? +
Every five correctly typed characters (key presses, including spaces) count as one word. Uncorrected mistakes are not counted, and accuracy shows how many key presses were right the first time.
